Hello Embedded World!

As it could not be otherwise, this is the first post. This is our first hello world. Here we go!

eming is just a name for an initiative of a Colombian creator who wants to share with the world his passion about electronics, embedded systems, computer architecture and real world products. This project was born as a means to share knowledge, explore technology solutions in depth and create electronics with purpose and professionalism.

We believe in improving step by step. Particularly in this fast-evolving field, it is absolutely necessary to build on what has been built and contribute to other creations with knowledge and experience.

In a world full of AI, Big Data, Machine Vision and other buzzwords that ultimately disconnect us from the real value we can obtain from current technology, we opt for modern but clever solutions for our daily lives. We love technology that is not only effective but meaningful without big tech ecosystems, theft of data for tireless advertising and unnecessary hyper-connectivity. Simple solutions for real world problems have great value these days when technology can do more good than harm if used properly and, more importantly, designed for specific purposes.

Embedded systems is a definition, but also reflects this philosophy of specific purpose. Our goal is to develop engineered products for very specific uses that can solve a problem. Regardless if the problem is big or insignificant, we believe that alternative hardware solutions for mobile apps and mindless screens everywhere have value in giving people another perspective.

This is our statement: we are a team of engineers creating high-quality things in this busy, generic world while sharing processes, tools, products, and solutions with others.

This will take a big effort. Maybe this will not be suitable for hobbyists and enthusiasts. We will explore these interesting fields of embedded systems and product development. We will go deep to develop the finest devices. So take a seat and let’s create.
